The Pulse is the 5" polished gold bar pull for navy blue kitchens — a small mirror placed against the darkest surface in the room. The pairing works on a simple optical fact: deep navy absorbs most of the light that reaches it, while a mirror-grade gold face reflects nearly all of it. Set side by side at grip height, the two create the widest light-to-dark range a kitchen can hold without introducing a third color the eye has to reconcile.
At this scale the effect is specific. A 5" polished bar on a navy base run becomes the brightest object in the lower half of the kitchen, catching ceiling fixtures, pendants, and window light and throwing them back as warm points distributed along the cabinetry. The bar doesn't add light to the room; it relocates the light already there down to drawer height, where dark cabinets would otherwise read as a flat mass.
Solid brass is mechanically polished to mirror grade and lacquer-sealed. Uncoated polished brass starts to cloud and yellow within 18 to 24 months of kitchen exposure as the surface reacts with air and handling; the seal on the Pulse keeps the reflective face true, so the mirror that does the optical work on day one is still doing it years later.
