Products and sizing
How do I know what size handle or pull I need?
Cabinet hardware is sized by center-to-center measurement — the distance between the two screw holes, not the total length of the piece. The most common sizes are:
- 32mm — small drawers, sliding doors
- 96mm — standard kitchen drawers, small cabinets
- 128mm — medium cabinets, base cabinets
- 160mm — large drawers, pantry doors
If you're replacing existing hardware, measure between the current screw holes and order the same size. If you're starting fresh, our Sizing Guide walks through how to choose based on cabinet type and door width.
Will Archandle hardware fit my cabinets?
If your cabinets use standard center-to-center spacing (32, 64, 96, 128, 160, or 192mm), yes. Our hardware is built to standard cabinet specifications used across the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and most of Europe. If your cabinets were custom-built or use non-standard spacing, measure carefully before ordering — and reach out to hello@archandles.com if you're unsure.
What are your products made of?
Most of our cabinet handles, pulls, and knobs are zinc-alloy cores with brass-finish, matte black, or brushed nickel-finish surfaces. Some pieces include real wood accents in walnut, oak, or beech.
We don't sell solid brass or solid bronze hardware — that category typically retails for 3–5× our prices. What we do sell is properly weighted, well-made hardware that looks the way the photos show, at honest prices. Construction details are in each product description.
Will the finish wear over time?
Plated finishes can show subtle wear around the highest-touch areas — the underside of pulls where fingertips rest, edges that catch sleeves — after years of daily use. This is normal across all plated hardware, regardless of price point.
If you want a finish that holds up best to wear, brushed nickel-finish and matte black are the most resilient. Brass-finish develops the most character over time, which some people love and others don't — your call.
Ordering and shipping
Where do you ship from?
Archandle is designed in Australia, but our products ship from our manufacturing partner facility in Hong Kong. This is how we keep prices fair — we skip the importer markup that adds 50–200% to retail hardware prices.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Standard delivery estimates from order placement to your door:
- United States: 15–25 business days
- Canada: 15–25 business days
- United Kingdom: 12–20 business days
- Australia: 10–18 business days
- Continental Europe: 15–25 business days
Expedited shipping is available at checkout for most regions, cutting transit times roughly in half. Full delivery details are in our Shipping Policy.
Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes?
Possibly — it depends on your country and order value.
For U.S. customers, recent changes to import rules (the suspension of the de minimis exemption in 2025) mean cabinet hardware imports are typically subject to customs duties. Where possible, we estimate these at checkout and include them in your total. Where not pre-collected, the carrier may invoice duties on delivery.
For other countries, GST, VAT, or local import taxes may be collected by the carrier when delivering your parcel.
We declare all shipments at full value and cannot under-declare to reduce duties — doing so is illegal in most countries.
How do I track my order?
You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order leaves our partner facility. Tracking can take up to 48 hours to populate as the parcel transitions from the partner facility to the international carrier network.
If your tracking hasn't updated for 5+ business days after the initial scan, email hello@archandles.com and we'll investigate with the carrier on your behalf.
Installation
Can I install Archandle hardware myself?
Yes — most cabinet hardware is installed with just a Phillips-head screwdriver and a measuring tape. Each piece ships with screws in the standard length for ¾" / 19mm cabinet door or drawer thickness.
If your cabinet doors are unusually thick (some custom or solid-wood doors run 1"+ / 25mm+), you may need longer screws — available at any hardware store for under $5. Our Installation Guide walks through the process step by step, including how to mark accurate hole positions and how to handle thicker doors.
Returns and refunds
Can I return something?
Yes. We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee — email hello@archandles.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll arrange a return.
For items under $25, we usually issue a refund without requiring you to ship anything back — return shipping costs more than the item is worth, and we'd rather you keep it (or pass it on) than feel out of pocket.
Full terms in our Refund Policy.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Email hello@archandles.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the damaged item
- A photo of the outer packaging if also damaged
We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund. Return shipping is on us, and damaged items are never charged restocking fees.
About Archandle
Are you a real brand or a reseller?
We're a real brand. Archandle is a trading name registered in Melbourne, Victoria, with a registered Australian Business Number. We curate every piece in our catalog, write every product description ourselves, and stand behind every order. We're not a flip-store reselling random products from open marketplaces.
Our small team handles design, customer support, and operations. When you email us, you reach us directly. The full story is on our About page.
I'm an interior designer or architect. Do you offer trade pricing?
We don't run a formal Trade Program at our price tier — but we offer designers, architects, and builders a 15% discount on all orders.
Email hello@archandles.com with your business details (an Instagram handle, portfolio link, or business name is fine — no application form). We'll send you a discount code, usually within the same business day. The code stacks with our other shipping benefits and works on any non-sale item.
Still have questions?
