About Archandles
Our Story
Some details are barely noticed. They're the ones that change everything.
A drawer opened. A cabinet door swung shut. A hand touched a pull without thinking — and for a brief moment, the room felt like itself.
That's what hardware does when it's chosen with intention. Not just as a fastener. As a finish line.
Archandle was built for that moment. Not the moment of renovation planning, not the moment the cabinets arrive — but the quiet moment after, when a kitchen finally feels complete, when a bathroom becomes a retreat, when a wardrobe becomes somewhere worth opening.
Design with a point of view
Every piece in the Archandle collection starts the same way: with a belief that hardware should carry its room without competing with it.
Our pulls, knobs, and handles are shaped around a simple design principle — considered geometry, honest material, and enough restraint to let the space breathe. Brushed brass that ages into warmth. Matte black that holds its weight in a bright white kitchen or a moody laundry. Antique brass that belongs in a Japandi bathroom as much as it does in a heritage farmhouse. These aren't finishes chosen because they trend. They're chosen because they endure.
Where material meets form, we go further. Our brass-and-walnut combinations bring warmth to flat-panel cabinetry where an all-metal pull would feel cold. Our brass-and-oak pieces carry a Nordic lightness that pairs with linen, stone, and raw plaster. Our ceramic and shell knobs add a considered eccentricity — the kind that makes a powder room feel personally curated, not catalog-assembled.
Built for every room that matters
Cabinet hardware is often thought of as a kitchen decision. We think that's too small.
The handles on a bathroom vanity are the first thing you touch in the morning. The pull on a wardrobe door is part of the ritual of getting dressed. The knob on a laundry cabinet is there every time the week resets. These spaces deserve the same level of design attention as the kitchen — and in Archandle's range, they get it.
Our collection is sized and specified for every cabinet center standard: 32mm, 96mm, 128mm, 160mm and beyond — from the delicate drawer in a powder room vanity to the sweep of a pantry door pull that commands a floor-to-ceiling cabinet. One cohesive design language, adapted for every room.
Luxury that lives in real spaces
Luxury hardware has a habit of showing up only in rooms that are photographed, not lived in.
We make hardware for the renovation that exists beyond the mood board — the kitchen where a family actually cooks, the bathroom shared by three people on a Tuesday morning, the wardrobe reorganized every six months. Hardware that looks like it came from a high-end design studio but handles daily life without ceremony.
Every Archandle piece is properly weighted — solid enough to feel intentional when your hand lands on it, balanced enough to open without effort. The finish you see in our photos is the finish you hold. The detail on the edge, the radius of the bar, the grain in the wood insert — these decisions were made before anything else.
Australian design, designed to travel
Archandle is designed in Melbourne. The aesthetic is shaped by Australian interior culture — a particular fondness for natural materials alongside industrial restraint, for spaces that feel warm but never overwrought, for the kind of considered simplicity that photographs beautifully but feels even better in person.
That design sensibility translates across contexts. A brushed brass bar pull designed for a Melbourne terrace kitchen reads just as fluently in a Brooklyn brownstone, a Santa Barbara bungalow, or an Austin new-build. The proportions are universal. The finishes are calibrated for natural light and artificial light equally. The design works wherever intentional interiors are being made — and we've watched Archandle pieces travel into homes across thirty countries to prove it.
Small team. Genuine commitment.
Archandle is run by a small team across design, operations, and customer support. When you write to us at hello@archandles.com, you reach the same people who chose every finish, reviewed every sample, and debated every radius before a piece entered the collection.
We respond within one business day — not because we've automated the process, but because we believe the conversation around a renovation deserves the same attention as the hardware that ends it.
