The Echo is a polished gold bar pull at 3.75" hole centers — sized small, finished loud. At upper-cabinet eye-line, the mirror face of polished brass picks up ceiling fixtures, under-cabinet strip lighting, and direct window light and returns it across the upper run. The hardware does not just sit on the cabinet face; it functions as a secondary light source distributing warmth down to the prep zone.
Solid brass mechanically polished to mirror grade and sealed with protective lacquer. The lacquer is what separates this finish from heritage unlacquered polished brass: unlacquered polished brass develops a yellow shift and surface dulling within 18 months of kitchen exposure as airborne oils and humidity oxidize the surface. The sealed version holds its mirror-grade reflectivity unchanged through years of kitchen use.
At 3.75" on uppers, this finish does not allow the hardware to recede. The choice when the kitchen has a deliberate jewelry-grade hardware program — not as accent, but as a light-active element working alongside cabinetry, countertop, and lighting design.
