The Orbit is a brushed brass cup pull at 3" hole centers — the drawer-zone counterpart to a bar pull program in the same finish. In a Shaker or transitional kitchen running brushed brass bar pulls on cabinet doors, the cup pull on drawers creates form differentiation across the cabinet run without changing finish.
This is the Shaker convention: cup pulls on drawers, bar pulls or knobs on doors. The hardware reads the drawer zone and the door zone as functionally distinct without making them visually inconsistent. The kitchen becomes legible — the eye understands at a glance which cabinet surface opens which way, before the hand reaches for anything.
Solid brass with a hand-applied brushed finish and protective lacquer. The cup form requires consistent coverage on both the exterior rim and the interior bowl — the hand enters the cup on every pull, so the inside surface takes as much contact as the outside. The brushed grain runs across both surfaces; the lacquer holds the satin character through years of daily kitchen use without dulling at the high-contact interior.
