The Omega is a 32mm brushed gold PVD cabinet knob — warmth delivered at every viewing angle, not just the front face.
On a horizontal bar pull, brushed gold cross-grain is visible only on the bar's front surface. The sides and back face are flat against the door. On a knob, the rounded form presents the brushed grain at every angle the eye can reach: front, side, top, and at the steep downward angle of a cook standing at the counter looking at a base cabinet door. The same finish at the same scale carries four to five times the visible brushed-surface area in knob form compared to bar form. For finishes where the surface character is the point — and brushed gold cross-grain is the point — the rounded form makes the finish work harder.
Solid brass with PVD brushed gold finish — physical vapor deposition bonds the gold layer to the brass substrate at the molecular level, not a plated coating that can lift, flake, or develop pinhole degradation over years of kitchen humidity. The PVD process applies evenly across the rounded surface without coverage drops at the curved edges where plated finishes typically thin.
