The Vapor is a brushed gold bar pull at 3.75" hole centers — the upper-cabinet scale where a small warm accent can register across a kitchen without committing the entire run to one color direction. Present enough to read from across the room; restrained enough to let the cabinet finish carry its own weight.
Solid brass with a brushed gold PVD finish — physical vapor deposition bonds the gold layer to the brass substrate at a molecular level. This is the difference between PVD and plating: plating sits on top of the metal and can lift, flake, or wear through at high-contact edges; PVD is fused into the substrate and stays there. Under kitchen humidity, ceiling lighting, under-cabinet strips, and direct window sun, PVD brushed gold holds its color and surface depth where plated gold finishes would shift or dull.
At 3.75" on uppers, brushed gold introduces a warm metallic at the scale the eye reads as accent, not statement. The cross-grain brushing scatters light across the surface, so the finish reads warm under task lighting but doesn't reflect into the cook's eye line. The accent that warms the room without dictating the rest of the palette.
Best fit: upper kitchen cabinets, spice pull-outs, narrow base drawers under 18", and pull-out trash fronts where the cabinet finish carries the primary work and the hardware adds warm accent. For brushed brass at the same size on white Shaker, see the Aura 3.75". To extend brushed gold across the base run on a natural walnut kitchen, step up to the Drift 5" or Float 6.25".
1× Vapor Brushed Gold Pull, 2× M4 machine screws (25mm), 2× M4 machine screws (38mm). Standard configuration — if your door thickness requires a different screw length, contact us before ordering.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the PVD finish.
Fit & installation
Back-mounted, with mounting screws included. The screws suit standard drawer fronts and doors from 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches thick; for thicker or thinner panels, a longer or shorter screw is available at any hardware store. Drill a 3/16-inch hole at each marked center, fit the screw from behind, and hand-tighten until snug. With daily use, hardware can work loose over time — an occasional re-tighten keeps it solid.
Care
Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap. Skip solvents, abrasives and furniture polish. The lacquered finish holds its tone — no polishing needed.
