The Flux is the 6.25" polished gold bar pull for navy blue base cabinetry — sized so the mirror face spans enough of an 18" to 24" door to create a horizontal light register that breaks the visual mass of a dark cabinet run.
A navy kitchen at base height accumulates visual weight. Dark cabinet panels at floor-to-counter level absorb ambient and direct light, and without a high-reflectivity counterpoint that mass begins to dominate the room. A polished gold bar at 6.25" provides that counterpoint at the specific zone where the eye reads the lower cabinet line — and at consistent intervals across the full base run, the row of polished bars functions as a horizontal strip of reflected light interrupting the dark cabinet surface.
Solid brass progressively polished to a specular reflective face, then lacquer-sealed for kitchen environments. The polishing process is mechanical and sequential — coarser to finer abrasives across multiple stages — and the lacquer is what holds the final reflective grade against airborne oil and humidity that would otherwise oxidize the surface within two seasons of daily kitchen use.
