The Core is a 6.25" brushed brass bar pull for kitchen islands — sized for standard island drawer fronts 22" to 28" wide and finished to read clearly from across an open-plan room. Because the same listing carries 96mm through 224mm centers, an island being re-handled can usually match the drawer's existing drill holes rather than filling and re-boring the face.
Island hardware operates under a different visibility constraint than perimeter hardware. A perimeter base cabinet is read from one face. An island is read from three or four faces — the working side, the seating side, and the long approach sightline from the dining or living zone. At 6.25" on a standard island drawer, the pull is visible from all of those positions, and the unlacquered solid brass surface keeps reading as warm metal regardless of which sightline the eye approaches it from.
Solid brass alloy throughout — no chrome plating underneath, no lacquer over-coat. The brushed grain runs the full 160mm span without tonal variation from face to mounting point. Unlike lacquered brushed brass, this surface continues to develop subtle patina over years of kitchen use; the hardware ages into the room rather than holding a factory-fresh appearance through the kitchen's lifetime.
