The Arc is a 5" matte black bar pull built for islands in open-plan kitchens — where the cabinetry has two viewing publics, the cook on the working side and the room on the other. At island scale, the rear of the unit faces a different space entirely. A small matte black mark on a white Shaker panel reads as quiet punctuation from the living-room side, not as signage. From the cooking side, the same pull stays graphic and legible at working distance.
Solid brass core with a thermally bonded matte black powder-coat. The finish does the opposite work of brass: brass announces, matte black recedes. Coverage is flat across the full 5" span with no tonal variation at the mounting points or along the bar. At 128mm center-to-center, this fits island secondary stacks and narrower drawer banks — primary fronts 22" to 26" wide.
On a 24" drawer face, a 5" pull spans roughly 21% of the panel width and leaves 70 to 75% as flat white field on either side. Narrow black mark on broad white plane reads as a controlled detail from across the room. White space carries the composition; the hardware sits on it rather than fills it — the same logic whether the island is read as a kitchen object or a room divider from the living side.
Best fit on smaller island drawer banks and secondary stacks where matte black holds the island's quiet authority across both sides of an open-plan room. Step up to the Facet 7.5" for primary drawers, or the Linear 10" for wide-format runs. For perimeter matching at the same 5" size, the Radiant 5" carries the finish back to the wall.
Clean with a soft damp cloth. Avoid scouring pads or chemical solvents.
Fit & installation
Back-mounted, with mounting screws included. The screws suit standard drawer fronts and doors from 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches thick; for thicker or thinner panels, a longer or shorter screw is available at any hardware store. Drill a 3/16-inch hole at each marked center, fit the screw from behind, and hand-tighten until snug. With daily use, hardware can work loose over time — an occasional re-tighten keeps it solid.
Care
A damp cloth is all it needs. No solvents or abrasive cleaners.
