The Slide is the 5" brushed brass bar pull for natural walnut wardrobe drawers — the most private hardware in the house, with no audience to perform for. Bedroom hardware lives in a different visibility regime than the kitchen: seen only by the people who live there, in pajamas, half-dressed, under the soft overhead of a bedside lamp. It sits on the drawers holding socks and underwear, things never staged for guests. That changes what the pull is for — it's chosen to feel right under a half-awake hand at 6am, not to photograph for anyone.

There's a practical reason 5" is the right scale here, beyond feel. Built-in and modular wardrobe systems — IKEA PAX, Hemnes, and most flat-pack closet drawers — are drilled at 128mm centers as their standard drawer spacing, so a 5" pull drops straight onto an existing system without re-boring. That makes the Slide the direct upgrade path: pull the builder-supplied handle, fit solid brass in its place, and the drawer keeps its original holes. On a 22" to 28" wardrobe drawer front, 128mm also sits in correct proportion — wide enough to grip a loaded drawer cleanly, narrow enough to stay a detail rather than a statement on a private drawer.

Bedroom humidity runs lower than a kitchen or bath, which makes this the lacquered finish's best-case environment — the warm brushed tone holds its color for decades with almost none of the moisture exposure that ages hardware elsewhere in the house. Solid brass, lacquer-sealed.

Specifications

  • Material: Solid brass
  • Finish: Brushed Brass
  • Type: Bar Pull
  • Hole Spacing (C/C): 5 inch (128mm)
  • Overall Length: Approx. 6 inch (152mm)

Best fit: walnut built-in wardrobes and modular closet drawer fronts in primary bedrooms, including direct retrofit onto 128mm flat-pack systems. Step up to the Shift 6.25" for mid-height doors, or the Drive 7.5" for tall closet panels. For the same finish on kitchen perimeter cabinetry, the Lume 5" shares brushed brass in the lacquered form.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the lacquered finish.

Fit & installation
Back-mounted, with mounting screws included. The screws suit standard drawer fronts and doors from 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches thick; for thicker or thinner panels, a longer or shorter screw is available at any hardware store. Drill a 3/16-inch hole at each marked center, fit the screw from behind, and hand-tighten until snug. With daily use, hardware can work loose over time — an occasional re-tighten keeps it solid.

Care
Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap. Skip solvents, abrasives and furniture polish. The lacquered finish holds its tone — no polishing needed.
