The Root is the 3.75" antique brass bar pull for rental properties with period or heritage cabinetry — the finish that matches existing architectural character instead of fighting it.

For a landlord with pre-war stock, a character conversion, or original millwork, modern finishes look wrong — matte black and chrome both fight the building's age. Antique brass aligns with what's already there. And critically for a rental: this patina is factory-applied and lacquer-sealed, not a living finish. Wipe gently with a dry cloth only. Avoid cleaning products that may strip the intentional patina.

Fit & installation
Back-mounted, with mounting screws included. The screws suit standard drawer fronts and doors from 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches thick; for thicker or thinner panels, a longer or shorter screw is available at any hardware store. Drill a 3/16-inch hole at each marked center, fit the screw from behind, and hand-tighten until snug. With daily use, hardware can work loose over time — an occasional re-tighten keeps it solid.

Care
Soft cloth and a mild, damp wipe. Avoid solvents that strip the finish.
