The Prime is a 5" brushed brass bar pull built for kitchen islands — at the smallest scale where island hardware reads correctly from across an open-plan room. Solid brass alloy, no chrome underlayer, no lacquer over-coat. The warmth on the surface is the warmth of the metal itself.
This is an unlacquered finish, which is a deliberate design choice. On a lacquered version, the factory color is locked: the finish you receive is the finish you keep through years of kitchen use. On unlacquered solid brass, the surface continues to interact with the room — oxygen, humidity, and direct hand contact slowly develop the natural patina that the kitchen's living history produces. Three years in, the pull at the most-used drawer has slightly more handling-darkened surface than the pull at the secondary spice drawer. The kitchen carries its own use into the hardware.
At 128mm hole centers, this is the island scale for compact island configurations, secondary drawer banks, and narrow drawer fronts that sit between wider statement pieces. Across an island of mixed drawer widths, the 5" Prime handles the small drawers without scaling overload from a larger pull. The 32mm projection still gives enough clearance to hook all four fingers behind the bar when a drawer loaded with utensils resists on the first pull, so grip depth doesn't shrink just because the pull is short.
