At 3.75" between hole centers, the Aura sits at the upper-cabinet scale — long enough to grip cleanly, short enough that it doesn't crowd a narrow door face. The size where a 5" pull starts to overrun the panel and a knob disappears entirely against the wall run.
Brushed brass behaves differently on upper cabinets than on base drawers. At eye-line, the directional grain scatters light instead of returning it, so a full row of uppers reads as warm punctuation across the wall, not a string of bright marks. Against a white Shaker, painted slab, or flat-front frameless cabinet, the finish settles in — present, not loud.
The 3.75" length is the upper-cabinet workhorse. Door widths from 12" to 18" carry it in proportion; spice pull-outs, narrow base drawers, and pull-out trash fronts take it without overhang. Specified consistently across every upper, it becomes the single horizontal line that makes a refresh look architected instead of swapped.
