Shipping Policy

Archandles is designed in Melbourne, Australia. Most orders are fulfilled from our production facility in Hong Kong; selected products are also stocked in a US warehouse for faster delivery within the United States. Where US-warehouse stock is available, it is indicated on the product page. We're transparent about origin because we'd rather you know up front than be surprised at delivery.

For all returns and exchanges, please refer to our Refund Policy.


1. Order processing

Most orders are processed and dispatched within 3–5 business days of order confirmation. During peak periods (see Section 9) processing may take an additional 1–2 days.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your parcel leaves our facility.


2. Where we deliver

We ship internationally to 30+ countries. Standard estimated delivery from order to doorstep (Hong Kong origin):

US-warehouse fulfillment (where indicated on the product page): standard delivery 3–7 business days, expedited 2–4 business days. No customs duties apply on US-warehouse orders shipped within the United States.

Timelines include processing plus carrier transit. They are estimates only and not guaranteed — see Section 9 for delays beyond our control.

Free standard shipping is available on orders over $150 USD (or local currency equivalent) to the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Other regions: free shipping threshold shown at checkout.


4. Customs, duties, and import taxes

For Hong Kong–origin shipments: customers may be responsible for customs duties, GST/VAT, and import processing fees imposed by the destination country.

Important note for U.S. customers: As of 2025, the United States no longer applies the de minimis duty exemption for goods imported from Hong Kong and mainland China. Most cabinet hardware imports are subject to customs duties at standard rates. Where possible, we estimate these at checkout — when shown, the estimate is included in your total. Where not pre-collected, duties may be invoiced by the carrier on delivery.

For US-warehouse shipments: orders fulfilled from our US warehouse ship domestically within the United States. No international customs, duties, or import processing fees apply.

We declare all international shipments at full value. We cannot mark parcels as "gift" or under-declare to reduce duties — doing so is illegal in most jurisdictions and risks parcel seizure.

If you refuse delivery due to customs charges, the parcel may be returned to our facility. Refunds in such cases will exclude original shipping and any duties already paid by us.


5. Tracking your order

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number and carrier link. Tracking may take up to 48 hours to populate as the parcel transitions from our facility to the international carrier network.

If your tracking has not updated for 5+ business days after the initial scan, please email hello@archandles.com and we'll investigate with the carrier on your behalf.


6. Address accuracy and changes

Please double-check your shipping address before completing checkout. We ship to the address exactly as entered.

Address change requests: Email hello@archandles.com as soon as possible. We can update an address only before the order is dispatched — typically within 1 business day of order placement. Once a parcel is in transit, we cannot redirect it.

Incorrect or undeliverable address: If a parcel is returned as undeliverable due to an address error provided at checkout, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Re-shipment fees apply, typically equal to the original shipping rate. If we cannot reach you within 30 days, we will issue a refund minus the original shipping cost.


7. Damaged or lost packages

Damaged in transit: If your order arrives with visible damage to the product, please email hello@archandles.com within 14 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damaged items
  • A photo of the outer packaging (if also damaged)

We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund. For items under $25, we typically don't require the damaged item back — keep it or pass it on.

Lost in transit: If tracking shows delivery but the parcel hasn't arrived:

  1. Wait 48 hours — carriers occasionally mark "delivered" 1–2 days early
  2. Check with neighbors, household members, and your building's parcel area
  3. If still missing after 48 hours, email hello@archandles.com

We'll open a carrier investigation. Depending on the outcome, we'll either replace the order or issue a refund. Investigations typically resolve within 5–10 business days.

For higher-value orders ($150+), we recommend selecting Expedited shipping with signature on delivery at checkout.


8. Delivery to PO Box, APO/FPO, and remote regions

We can deliver to most addresses including PO Boxes (via standard postal carriers) and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. For remote regions (Hawaii, Alaska, Northern Territory AU, remote Canada, Scottish Highlands, etc.) a small delivery surcharge may apply, shown clearly at checkout.

We do not currently ship to: destinations under U.S. trade embargo, freight forwarders, or addresses where international postal service is suspended.


9. Holiday and peak season delays

International manufacturing and shipping experience predictable slowdowns during certain peak periods. Please plan ahead during:

Lunar New Year (January – February):
Manufacturing facilities and logistics networks across Hong Kong and mainland China operate with significantly reduced capacity during the Lunar New Year period. Many factories close partially or fully for approximately 4–6 weeks, with additional backlog before and after the holiday period.

For Hong Kong–origin items, processing and shipping timelines may extend by approximately 2–6 additional weeks during this season depending on supplier schedules, material availability, and carrier congestion.

Items fulfilled from our US warehouse are not affected by Lunar New Year and continue to ship on standard timelines throughout this period.

Black Friday through New Year (late November – early January):
Global carrier networks operate at peak capacity. Please allow an additional 5–10 business days for standard delivery estimates.

Major U.S. holidays:
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas may cause temporary fulfillment or carrier delays.

Delivery estimates during peak periods are approximate only and are not guaranteed.


10. Order changes and cancellations

Orders can be cancelled at no cost before they are dispatched — typically within 1 business day of placing the order. Once a parcel is in transit, the order must go through the standard return process described in our Refund Policy.

11. Returns shipping

Return shipping is described in full in our Refund Policy. In summary:

  • For change-of-mind returns: customer covers return shipping
  • For damaged, defective, or wrong items: Archandles covers return shipping with a prepaid label
  • For items under $25: a return is often not required — we may refund without asking the original back
